ANALYSIS OF VERTICAL IRREGULAR BUILDING USING STAAD PRO

Abstract
The present study aims to comprehend various vertical irregularity structures especially geometric irregularity of structures under the application of seismic force and determine the deflection in the columns. The primary objective of this project is to analyze and design a G+5 residential building through STAAD Pro. Limit State Design, as per the Indian Standard Code of Practice, is the design process employed in STAAD-Pro analysis. The design and evaluation of the structure accounted for various loads, including dead load, live load, and seismic load. Furthermore, it was
necessary for the supports at the base of the construction to be regarded as fixed. The structure was subsequently analysed, and the components were designed via STAAD Pro. The bending moment and shear force values, derived from the schematic, were analysed upon the completion of the design. It is envisaged that strict adherence to the loading norms proposed in IS code would guarantee the structural safety of the structures that are being developed. High-rise buildings need calculations that are time-consuming and complex when performed manually. STAAD. Pro provides a rapid, efficient, intuitive, and precise platform for structural analysis.
